Linda B. Alle-Murphy

Linda B. Alle-Murphy is an associate of the Firm.  The focus of her practice is on Bankruptcy Litigation and Commercial Litigation.  Ms. Alle-Murphy has represented officers and directors of an insolvent large manufacturing company, defending against claims arising out of the firm's Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.  She has also represented a large law firm in claims arising out of its representation of a bankrupt student loan service.  Her representations also include business owners, banks, partnerships and corporations in litigation matters involving breach of contract claims, rights to intellectual property and fraud and civil RICO claims.  Prior to her legal career, Ms. Alle-Murphy was a professional cellist with a career based out of Germany.

Ms. Alle-Murphy is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.  She has served as an investigative team leader for the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

She has been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a "Rising Star" lawyer in 2006, 2007 and 2008.  She is also the recipient of the 2005 HIAS Honors Award in recognition of her pro bono representation of an asylum seeker.

Ms. Alle-Murphy's community involvement includes membership on the Board of Trustees of The Rock School and the Board of Directors of The Career Wardrobe.  Previously, Ms. Alle-Murphy was a member of the Corporate Sponsors of The Mann Music Center and the Board of Directors of Suburban Music School.  In 2008, she also participated in a home-building project in Appalachia, sponsored by Media Presbyterian Church.
